Community partnership expands COVID vaccine availability

Mar 02, 2021

As vaccine is distributed across the state, healthcare providers are working together to ensure community members have access to available vaccine. We are pleased to announce that a collaboration with PeaceHealth will allow more Family Care Network patients (and others) to get vaccinated next week.

PeaceHealth recently received a large allocation of the Pfizer vaccine. They are working with local healthcare providers, including FCN, to offer appointments to eligible patients outside the PeaceHealth network.

Family Care Network will provide PeaceHealth a list of FCN patients that meet state eligibility criteria. PeaceHealth will call patients directly to schedule and will provide all appointment information to patients at that time. They will schedule second dose appointments for all patients they vaccinate.

We encourage our patients to take advantage of any opportunity they have to get vaccinated, whether it is at FCN, a local pharmacy or mass vaccination site, or with another community healthcare provider.

We are happy to partner with PeaceHealth on this effort to help our eligible patients get vaccinated and are grateful to be in such a supportive healthcare community.
