Elizabeth R. Gaylord, ND, ARNP

I have been a provider at North Sound Family Medicine since 2009. I am a naturopathic physician as well as a nurse practitioner. I received my doctorate from Bastyr University and my master’s in nursing from Seattle University.

Working in a family practice setting is important to me because of the relationship that develops over time and the continuity of care that is provided. It is my goal to offer care to my patients that incorporates the whole person. The main focus of my naturopathic practice is nutrition and exercise counseling. I believe fueling a body with the proper balance of nutrition and engaging in regular exercise will help prevent disease and improve baseline health. I use pharmaceuticals when medically appropriate and recommend regular preventive care such as colonoscopies, mammograms and immunizations.

In my free time I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, daughter and friends. If there are any spare moments, I fill them with kayaking, trail running, weight training, gardening and cooking.
