Lisa N. Brodsky, ARNP

I grew up in Columbia, Maryland and completed my undergraduate degree in comparative religion at Williams College in Massachusetts. After finishing my undergraduate studies, I lived in Japan for several years. While there, I had my first direct experience providing hospice care, which led me to pursue a career in health care. When I returned to the US, I attended the University of Washington and earned my Doctorate of Nursing Practice. While completing my graduate studies, I worked as a home health and hospice nurse in Seattle and had the opportunity to learn from incredible patients and colleagues.

As a board-certified family nurse practitioner, I provide acute, chronic and preventive care to patients and families across the lifespan. I value getting to know my patients so I can support them in a way that is aligned with who they are. I love working in family practice because it allows for the cultivation of relationships over time, offering continuity and context for providing care. I am delighted to be a part of the team at North Sound Family Medicine.

My husband and I live in Bellingham with our wonderful dog, and we enjoy getting outside as often as we can. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, gardening, weaving, kayaking, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
