On Monday, June 28, a major software upgrade will be installed in our electronic medical record. This may delay how quickly we can process prescriptions and refills, while our providers and clinical staff adjust to the changes.
The software upgrade is required to make sure FCN is in compliance with new federal regulations designed to improve the safety and security of electronic prescriptions.
All our clinical staff and providers will be learning a new process for prescribing medications, documenting them in your medical record, processing refills, and sending prescriptions electronically.
We expect things to get back to normal in a few days. Please contact your clinic and/or provider directly if you need assistance with an urgent medication or refill.
