UPDATE: Vaccine for patients still extremely limited

Jan 22, 2021

Family Care Network is receiving a large number of inquiries from patients who would like to be vaccinated. We want to share the latest information we have about COVID-19 vaccine.

Washington State recently added a new eligibility group, Phase 1B-Tier 1 (age 65 and older and age 50 and older in a multigenerational household), in addition to Phase 1A. Unfortunately, FCN has not received enough vaccine to begin broadly vaccinating eligible patients.

The very small amount of vaccine that Family Care Network received this week will be prioritized for specific, high-risk groups according to local health department recommendations. These may be different than state recommendations, based on the limited supply we have in our region.

Our providers will identify eligible FCN patients for the vaccine, and FCN staff will reach out to patients individually to schedule an appointment. We are not accepting requests for appointments by phone or email, or keeping a waiting list.

We don’t know when or how much more vaccine will be sent to our clinics, but we are hopeful a steady supply starts arriving soon.

When we are able to start broadly vaccinating eligible groups we will provide information on how to make an appointment using all the methods we normally use, such as our website, email, patient portal, phone, etc. You can check your COVID vaccine eligibility using the PhaseFinder online questionnaire at www.findyourphasewa.org.

For current updates on vaccine availability, please check our website before calling your clinic: COVID Vaccine Info

We are working hard behind the scenes to make sure we’re ready to vaccinate our patients as soon as we get more shipments. We are confident there will be enough vaccine for everyone in the coming months.
