After growing up in Wyoming, I obtained my undergraduate degree in molecular biology from the University of Wyoming in 2007. In 2011, I graduated from the University of Colorado Physician Assistant Program and moved on to a career as a family medicine PA. Since then I’ve been a PA in Colorado, Alaska, and now, Washington.
I love spending time with my patients and helping them learn to better advocate for themselves. My favorite types of visits center around women’s health, adolescent medicine and mental health. I really enjoy working in urgent care because I get to help someone feel better on the day they are seen.
When I’m not taking care of patients, I spend my time reading, baking and drinking tea with my husband, and volunteering with potbellied pigs. After growing up in a landlocked state, I love to sit by the ocean and listen to the waves breaking on shore.
