Mark McGrath, MD

I was born and raised in Seattle, Wash. I am privileged to have received my training and education in my home state. After graduating from University of Washington’s School of Medicine I completed my residency at Skagit Family Medicine Residency in Mount Vernon, Wash. My wife and I moved to Bellingham in 2024 and are excited to put down roots in a city we have grown to love over the last few years.

I became a family medicine doctor because I believe in patient-centered care. I feel my most important role as a provider is to help my patients be well-informed so they can make shared decisions about their health. I enjoy partnering with patients at every stage of life from children to the elderly. I also focus on providing quality women’s health and LGBTQ+ care.

I enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife hiking, running and rock climbing. I am also an avid sports fan and a dedicated supporter of our local teams.
