Sarah Peterson, MD

I grew up in Seattle and earned my undergraduate degree at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Wash. I went on to earn a master’s degree in public affairs at Princeton University and worked in environmental and conservation policy for a number of years. I subsequently attended medical school at the University of California, San Francisco. I completed my family medicine residency program at the University of Washington-Valley Medical Center in Renton, Wash.

I enjoy partnering with patients and their families to help them feel their best at every age and stage of life. Working together, we can identify roadblocks, break down old habits, and create exciting new opportunities to maximize health and wellbeing. I have particular interests in obstetrics, preventive medicine, and palliative care. I also have experience caring for patients when they are hospitalized.

When not at work, I can be found biking, beachcombing and questing for baked goods with my husband and kids.
