I attended medical school at Stanford University. While in school I developed a passion for improving hospital quality and safety and decided to learn more about improvement science through the MBA program at Stanford School of Business. I did my residency in internal medicine at the University of Washington and a chief residency in quality and safety at the Seattle VA Medical Center.
I was inspired to join Family Care Network when I witnessed the common sense of responsibility that our team of healthcare professionals has towards Bellingham and the surrounding community. It is my goal to provide each and every one of my patients with safe and effective care, and I am excited to be part of a team that is driven towards the same goal. My hope is that you will find a similar confidence in our team, so we can be source of comfort as you navigate the complexities of our hospital and healthcare system.
When I am not at the hospital, I love to spend time with family and friends in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia.
